We are clearing older stock to make way for our new shipment.
They were originally A grade beans but we are now selling them as C grade 'extract quality' beans as they have bean either damaged or the packaging wasn't airtight and they have dried. They would be most suitable for making vanilla powder.
These beans are cured using the bourbon method, made famous by the vanilla growers of Madagascar.
Unopened they will last for 4-6 months, once opened they will last for several months if you keep them airtight (with as little air as possible) and in a cool dark place, like your pantry. We recommend using these beans within the next month.
